Pinterest - King Pins

Ok, so this is pure and shameless self-promotion but hey, I'm in PR so I think I can be excused just this once.

Here's an interview I did with Marie Claire which has just hit the shelves, which is all about Pinterest and what all the fuss is about.

If you haven't checked out Pinterest yet, check out my page http://pinterest.com/lukedeanweymark/

Cheers,

Parklife around the world

There's something magical about a good park and play equipment. Whether it sparks fond childhood memories, or just makes you beeline for a vacant swing or slippery dip - there's no doubt about it...a good park will bring out the inner child in almost anyone!

These next few pics are from a number of parks that I've come across in my travels.

Enjoy.

Iclandic Adventures

So who's been to Iceland??

Well I can happily say I have. I can also quite happily say that i'd go back too. Well that is of course if I actually purchased the right clothing next time.

Its funny if your not wearing proper snow attire e.g. Snow jacket, snow pants and snow boots. Then regardless of whatever else you put on, and or how many layers, I can garuntee that your going to feel like your wearing nothing at all!!

Regardless of the climate. Iceland is amazing in every sense of the word. They are one of the most enviromnetally concious and friendly place in the world, running completely on geothermal and hydroelectricity. The majority of their cars are running on either methane, hydrogen or electric. And last but not least, their scenery is off the richter scale!

Enjoy!

Bridging the gap

These next few shots are of my first few days in London.

Nat and I spent hours wandering around London Bridge soaking up the sights and the sunlight!

Enjoy!

Its all about the friends you make along the way...

It has come up in conversation many times during my travels. Traveling around the world is such an amazing experience. Visiting all those beautiful places and revelling in interesting and different cultures and ways of life  lets just say, it's character building! But the thing that really makes all of these times so special are the people that you meet along the way.

These next few shots are some of the amazing people who have really made my travels such an amazing life changing experience.

Impromptu Silliness

Its your lucky day!

Today's pictures are from a guest photographer and my beautiful girlfriend Natalie Thom!

I really couldn't leave these shots out, because every time I look at them they make me laugh out loud.

This is the result of Nat asking Tim and I to act "natural" after several Steins on the second day of Oktoberfest.

Timmo is not only my cousin, but is also one of my best friends, and can now also add "the ultimate travel companion" to his CV. The amount of stories I could tell you about our antics could fuel this blog for many years to come and that not even mentioning our latest trip!!

This sequence is about as serious as I've ever seen us in  my entire life!

Brilliantly Berlin

Ask anyone who has visited Berlin and I'm sure they would agree that there is something magical in the air.

I must admit i was not much of a fan of history in high school, but since visiting Berlin i think if my high school had managed to incorporate a school excursion to this amazing city, then maybe i would have changed my tune.

The shots below will hopefully paint the picture what a culturally vibrant destination Berlin really is.

Enjoy.

I Love Munchen

Once landing in Munich, you could almost feel the excitment in the air, with only hours to wait until the first kegs among many would be cracked open, and the Octoberfest festivities would begin...

Although most of those who attended Beerfest wouldn't actually know it (due to the excessive amonts of alcohol consumed), but Munich was actually a very impressive city!

The next few shots are from in and around Munich and the Beer Fuelled Beerfest!

I hope you enjoy.
